PMK*BNC to Launch New Film Department
Marian Koltai-Levine to Lead Unit and Bring Her Zipline Entertainment Team

(New York, New York) – (August 2, 2010) - PMK*BNC announced today a new film marketing and distribution department to be headed by Zipline Entertainment’s President, Marian Koltai-Levine. The addition of this new area of expertise is the latest step in the innovative changes that the company has initiated since January, when PMK and BNC announced their merger. This was a logical evolution in the strategic growth of the company’s entertainment division, which includes the areas of talent, filmmakers, corporate entertainment, television, music, sports and events.
“We are excited to bring Marian and her team over to create a visionary film dimension that is unique to the current entertainment landscape,” said Cindi Berger, Chairman and CEO. “Bringing in Marian allows PMK*BNC to round out its entertainment division with a completely integrated film marketing and communications department, as well as adds distribution capabilities that we’ve never had before,” added Berger.

Koltai-Levine opened Zipline Entertainment as a response to the ever-changing trends in the entertainment industry. Her philosophy of offering a complete outsourced marketing department that could adjust to the needs of a client, coupled with distribution services, has filled a much needed void in the marketplace. This integrated approach to marketing allows PMK*BNC to be true strategic partners to its vast array of clients.
“It’s exciting to spearhead a new department that kicks it up a notch and delivers new value and capabilities to an already potent PMK*BNC offering,” said Koltai-Levine. "Our clients will now have one-stop expertise to tap into the services they need: marketing, distribution, digital, social media, publicity, promotions and product placement—the full gamut of services. On a personal level, I'm thrilled to be joining my former PMK colleague Cindi Berger and Michael Nyman in their formidable company,” added Koltai-Levine.

Rachel Aberly
Joining Koltai-Levine will be the staff that was formally employed by Zipline Entertainment, which includes veteran publicity/marketing executive Nina Baron, along with Nathalie Kohen, Lee Meltzer, George Nicholis, Freida Orange and Morgan Ressa. Former PMK executive Rachel Aberly will spearhead the film operations in Los Angeles and report to Koltai-Levine.
Prior to founding Zipline Entertainment, Koltai-Levine headed marketing at both Picturehouse and Fine Line Features, where she spent 15 years leading winning campaigns. Prior to her studio experience, she was a senior publicist at PMK. Koltai-Levine has one of those rare résumés that delivers comprehensive experience in all aspects of entertainment allowing her to orchestrate successful and creative campaigns.
